I am not one to write my own reviews, but this store prompted me to do so for the first time!!! Great little shop that offers a big experience and something for everyone. Returning today to buy my wife some earrings she regretted not getting immediately after we left and love supporting small business. The Local breaks the mold and will exceed your expectations.

My whole family loves this store. There really is something for everyone. It is the one "boutique" that my wife pulls me into that I really do not mind going into. Cool stuff for men, nice jewelry and clothes for ladies and knickknacks and gadgets for everyone. If you're looking for a place to shop for birthdays or anniversaries go to The Local, you will not be let down.

I’m so glad I know about this shop. The local is in downtown New Braunfels. Parking is very easy in front of the shop or in a lot across the street. The vibe of The Local is laid back with a lot of class. Vintage offerings with so many unique items are presented throughout the shop. This is my go to shop for special gifts for men or women. They support local artist and have a very healthy plant collection as well. The Local carries some amazing candles, men’s toiletries, women’s jewelry and clothing. They carry many current trends in clothing and jewelry. They have a charming little sitting area where you can check out their old & new books. You’ll feel like you’ve walked into a friends home when shopping here, the staff is fabulous.

Every time I come in here, they take all my money! And I’m not complaining one bit because I LOVE everything I have purchased from here! They were even so sweet to custom order me some leather bound calendars that I had purchased the previous year and needed 2024! The shop owner is the best when it comes to curating her store, so beautifully done!

Such a cute store!! They have plants and clothes and super cute drink wear and jewelry and new braunfels gear!!! There’s everything you need!! You can spoil yourself and get something cute to wear (men and women) or you can find a beautiful gift for someone or a very cool one of a kind souvenir! I’m coming back for the long sleeve mustard yellow Texas shirt next time!! Oh and to top it off, I told the 2 very kind ladies in the front I was going to a bridal shower - they wrapped up my gift I bought all nice and neat!!!! Totally felt the love from this place! Can’t wait to come back!

The local has been one of my favorite stores in New Braunfels for years. I especially love that one of my favorite artists sells her prints, calendars, stickers, and paintings at The Local. If you're ever in there be sure to check out StationaryBakery!

As an NB native, this is my go to favorite place! They have the cutest clothes, the most unique and high quality gifts and treasures, and an amazing selection of beautiful jewelry and fun coffee table books! And the local NB artwork will keep you staring for hours (and wanting you to start your own collection)! The best part is they’re always changing, rearranging and updating their inventory and store so every time you go back there’s new must-haves you’ll find! Whether you life here or you’re visiting you have to make a stop at The Local!

The Local is a fabulous Boutique. The clothes are beautiful and very stylish. Loved all the Jewelry. Plenty of gift ideas. The Customer Service was wonderful by Kat, Kayla, and Gen.
